Basking in the warmth again

Last night the heat went out at home. It gradually crept down below 60F before 9p.m at which point I gave up and curled up in bed for quite possibly the most uncomfortable night’s ‘sleep’ I’ve had. It was seriously cold this morning, as wooden houses with temperatures hovering around 0F (-18C) and 15mph winds don’t do too well when there’s no heat being circulated. I really didn’t even want to get out of bed, but figured since I would have to get up to grab the phone and call Ted I may as well just go work 😉 I swear it was warmer outside waiting for the taxi than when I was inside. Thankfully Jimmy, the landlord, got it running again and is now plenty warm!
