An efficient ICT support service – surely not?!

Well, the laptop has returned this morning with a new hard drive. Impressed at the speed at which it has come back, though wasn’t expecting anything less to be honest. They’ve also sent the old hard drive back with it which is pretty cool – can’t believe how dinky they are!
Anyways, will need to solder it back into the mains before it’ll run properly (poor batteries aren’t what they used to be), but after doing a nice job of re-imaging the new hard drive, I’ve already spotted a lack of sound card + modem drivers having been installed.

Which is nice…
