Off to VMWare training in Anchorage

This past weekend kept me busy. I squeezed in some K300 website work between breakfast with friends and hanging out with them again on Saturday evening, then continued it on Sunday between coming + going with a couple of other little things. The core results app (fingers crossed) seems to work really well and gives enough stats to keep armchair fans happy. The real test won’t come until the race starts though. I’m happy with how the site is holding up given it’s getting quite a lot of traffic and only going to get better. Looking forward to the race weekend now, especially as I was offered an opportunity earlier to get some photos included in the Tundra Drums newspaper.

But, I’m off to Anchorage in an hour or so for a 4-day VMWare training course which should be good. Was really looking forward to it before Christmas, but the last few days at work I’ve been swamped with coming back from vacation and catching up with things, so going back out right away for 4 days isn’t the most helpful of timing! Sure the course will be good though, certainly all beneficial for our plans to start implementing out virtual environment after 3+ months of testing and exploring.
