Back comes the snow
Thursday 24th January, 2008 | 5:00 pmAfter winds + rain took away a lot of the snow last week leaving the bare ice exposed, we got a bucketload of snow last night and though this afternoon. It was real blizzard conditions most of today, though sod’s law by the time I got home at 4p.m it stopped snowing and the wind eased up! Wading through snow up to your thighs at times and trying to figure out how to cut lengths of wood when your tape measure and square keep getting buried in snow wasn’t much fun.

Needless to say I’m a little cold, wet + tired now! At least with all the fresh snow down it was fun riding my snowmobile though - could really get it moving when turning! Ideally the temperature needs to drop a little to hold the snow together and hopefully I can get out to play over the weekend.
