Burning stuff is fun

-4F (-20C) without windchill is too cold for carrying empty cardboard boxes to the trash on the other side of school – the locals don’t venture out much at the moment unless it’s on a snowmobile or 4-wheeler and I’d already walked to the post office this morning! So, I simply flattened the boxes, crammed them into the empty drums outside the houses and set fire to them:

Burning trash

Much simpler, and a lot more fun! Made sure the workmen cleared off first as getting a fire going in these conditions ain’t easy so figured I’d go with the old newspaper-as-tinder rather than grab-that-petrol-can-from-over-there which would probably have been their suggestion 😀
