Well, train leaves in an hour – thankfully I’ve booked an early train as they’re closing the east coast main line after 12p.m from York northwards so it could have been trying to get to Edinburgh. Whoever thought of closing the line over the holiday weekend when so many people will be travelling is nothing short of a genius.

Anyway, will probably get soaked through over the next week, but it’s better than being at work I suppose!

Not that I’m complaining, but having all these snow days and then having to come in for a Friday is a really bad idea.
I mean, you do a couple of days (well, one day as I blagged another course on Monday…), couple of days off where you get a nice bit rest, do one day at work, then get the weekend again. But, having 5 days off in the last two weeks due to snow, life’s not all that bad I suppose!

Plus, on the bright side, I have two days off next week on courses – these 2/3 day weeks are suiting me fine!
